Åkra Åkra is our largest area, which was built between the years 1962–1968. It is located on the eastern side of Silvermyntsgatan, on the site where Åkra farm was located. The only remnant from that time is part of the apple orchard down by the ponds. From the middle of the area, it is about a 15-minute walk to Sala station and 12 minutes to the town center.
