Åkra Åkra is our largest area, which was built between 1962 and 1968. It is located on the east side of Silvermyntsgatan, on the site where the Åkra farm used to be. The only thing remaining from that time is part of the apple orchard down by the ponds. From the middle of the area it is about a 15-minute walk to Sala station and 12 minutes to the town centre.
