Åkra Åkra is our largest area, built between the years 1962–1968. It is located on the east side of Silvermyntsgatan, on the site where Åkra farm once stood. The only remains from that time are a part of the apple orchard down by the ponds. From the center of the area, it is about a 15-minute walk to Sala station and 12 minutes to the town center.
