Åkra Åkra is our largest area, which was built between the years 1962–1968. It is located on the eastern side of Silvermyntsgatan, on the site where Åkra farm used to be. Remaining from that time is only part of the apple orchard down by the ponds. From the middle of the area, it is about a 15-minute walk to Sala station and 12 minutes to the city center.
