Unique Haven, irresistible Seaview over Stockholm A charming villa from the early 1900's with sea views towards the city of Stockholm. This is a great oasis to replenish your batteries with new energy and creativity. The view and the light are amazing. The house is about 200 m2 on two levels. The house is located on an island without a car bridge to the mainland (footbridge during the winter months). ALL year, it's connected by ferry and private boat. * Home Cinema * Bubble bath * Outdoor HOT TUB * Mobile broadband (Fiber) * "Minigym", with a training bicycle and a rowing machine * A small private rowing boat w 15 hk motor * Boat pool Upstairs are three bedrooms and a small toilet. A 'master bedroom' with flat screen TV of 26 inches, double bed (210 x 210) and a pre walk-in closet. First teen room has a 140 cm wide Hästen bed (not loft any longer as on the picture) with stunning view. Big enough to sleep two in, if wanted. The second teen room has a single bed (not loft any longer) of 90 cm width. Living room, dining room and lounge located in file with stunning sea views. * Living room with sofa, bookshelf and "real" home theatre system, flat-screen TV at 40 inches, stereo and fireplace. * Dining room with seating for 12 people. * "Green drawing room" of the more old-fashioned character, with lots of plants. The drawing-room has an interior from the Carl Johan epoch, with a sofa and round "coffee table". It’s perfect for afternoon tea or during a quiet relaxing moment in the evening, with something pleasant in the glasses. From the living room and dining room are two terrace doors leading out to a large south-facing terrace with seating for 6 persons. If you need more seats, you can take out the dining room table temporary. Wonderful for Mediterranean hot dinners or just to relax in the sun or shade during daytime. * Well-equipped modern kitchen with fridge, stove, oven, microwave and dishwasher. Freezer with ice making and cold-water tap. It is open from the kitchen into the dining room, providing more daylight and sea view. * Charming large tiled bathroom with toilet, large sink, Jacuzzi tub, shower, washer and dryer. * A smaller separate WC. * Office-/ guest room with two separate folding beds and an desk with office chair. The guest room has its own entrance. This room can be excluded for a smaller rent. The rent also includes access to a "boatpool", where we collectively owns a number of rowboats to quickly and easily take us the shortest distance from Stocksund, Svanholmsparken over to Tranholmen. The house is located on an island without a car bridge to the mainland. The island has about 200 households and a circumference of over 3 km. The island itself is a uniquely relaxing haven close to the big city bustle and variety. It offers two child-friendly public bathing areas / beaches and two playgrounds / areas as well as a joint tennis court. The island has a unique and well-renowned "at home" restaurant called David at home who quickly made a name for themselves, see davidathome dot se. The island also has a Barn offering uncommercial Pub activities, preferably on Fridays during the summer, sometimes with entertainment and / or grilling. ALL year round there are commuting boatstrips with SL to and from Ropsten. You can also change boat and go all the way downtown. The journey to Ropsten only takes about 5-10 minutes, then metro 8 minutes to Stockholm Central. For time-table see SL at se, include boats. November 1 to April 15, there is also a pedestrian bridge, which means that you can go to the car park at Långängsstrand in Stocksund alternative to public bus service, about 1 km, on the mainland. It is about 3 km to the subway at Danderyd Hospital (one of the largest hospitals in Stockholm). Both lines of communication offer full access to Stockholm's culture / shopping and tourist offerings. By boat you reach three petrol stations and a small shop within 5 minutes. On the mainland side, it is about 1-1.5 km to Stocksund Center that includes a supermarket, health center and library. Beside Danderyd Hospital is a slightly larger shopping center, Mörby Center, which you can reach without your own car. So why not take a short run or walk directly onto the island before / after dinner or just relax on the patio. Across the bay you can reach the tracks of "Lidingöloppet" of 30 km and several other running-/ hiking trails in "Lill-Jans skogen". My personal favorite is the 10-11 km long stroll around the amazing Brunnsviken with nice gardens / parks, rocks, and good food at Brunnsvikens Värdshus (Inn). You also pass Crown Princess's residence and other royal buildings and the Butterfly House when passing through the Royal Park of Haga. For ev pets pls consult owner in advance.
